how about those hawks

Recommended Posts

They always play well against the Wings.  Too bad they aren't motivated enough to put out that kind of effort consistently.

I think it's time to dump Sutter and give Yawney a shot.

That certainly would be a start. Call up Anton Babchuk and Vorobiev, giv em and da rest of da kids consistent mins, and trade DUI Alex as well.

As a matter of a fact, since 1999 NO team has put up more points against Detroit than the Chicago Blackhawks... If we could only play the Wings every game we would win it all

It was something like 7 or 10 guys that were in injured the night before the Hawks game, right?

Not that the Hawks have any key injuries or anything. That was the one thing that was annoying about the national broadcast was the constant whining and feeling sorry for the poor beat up Detroit Red Wings :puke LOOK ACROSS THE ICE AT THE OTHER BENCH!!!

The story I saw was referring to the fact that the Red Wings were still playing WELL while missing a lot of players.

The SlackHawks have played just well enough to lose and lose and lose and lose.

And aren't going to do a goddamn thing about it, because they are counting on a work stoppage next year, and don't want to commit ONE DOLLAR more than necessary for players.

That would be the difference.

Many teams seemed to take that philosophy in the pre-season and another team that seems to be adhering to it are the 'Canes.
