Dick Allen
He came up a secondbaseman with Oakland. He really hasn't played there for a few seasons, and I really don't know how he was defensively there. But he is a "grinder", and I think would fit in well in the line-up. BurlyMan56
I want someone who can play second base...I don't want an experiment out there, leave him at first/DH.
Loaiza21
I'm hoping Ozzie makes Willie like Castillo
Chisoxfn
He was the A's experiment and it didn't pan out. He could play there, but you wouldn't want him starting there.

MurcieOne
Willie Harris is your opening day 2b... lets hope he learns how to hit major league pitchers over summer.
Ishmookie
he would be a heavier second baseman than luis rivas, the twins probably have the fattest second baseman, shortstop combo in the majors.

Sorry Jason I gotta Disagree there. Spiezio led the AL in Fielding Pct 2 times as a Second baseman.
The Beast
Spezio is a horrid second baseman...look just sign him for 1st base when we trade Paulie
JoshPR
Spezio is a horrid second baseman...look just sign him for 1st base when we trade Paulie Horrid??? How many times have you seen him there? Or are you just repeating what Jason Said? Let's See 1997 with Oakland .990 Fielding Pct. Lead the League. 7 errors Least in the League. Range Factor 4.76, League Average 4.33. In 146 Games 1998 With Oakland .975 Fielding PCT. 13 Errors 126 games. Range factor 4.59 League Average 4.14 1999 Played all over the Infield. 42 games at 2b 3 errors, .984 Fielding Pct. League average .981, Range Factor 4.38, League Average 4.44/// Yeah Those are horrid Numbers I'm not saying to sign him as a second baseman, I would love him at 1st baseover Slownerko, but you can't say he's horrid without looking at the Numbers
