LA gets the Yankee's first rounder because they were one game worse than the Sox. Oakland will now also receive Boston's first rounder because Keith Foulke was a Type A free agent. Hope this clears up everything.

I agree, but the minor leagues are becoming less and less fruitfull for the team that drafts them. By the time you home grow a pitcher and he's on your 25 man roster, the money issue kicks in and adios.

 

How many picks out of your first 10 round picks would you package for a;

Maggs? I'd give you all of them

Lee? at least 6

Buerhle? at least 8

 

I'm too old to get excited about draft picks.
