witesoxfan
Congrats to Indiana, but I have a seroius question. How many Americans(I figured I should be more specific with foreigners on the board where soccer is more popular in their countries....and this post is not to offend them) actually care about soccer? Because I personally do not care about it at all. Personally, I think soccer is about the most boring sport to watch.

There is a good following...Did ya see the crowds of people at the World Cup last year, especially at our victory over Mexico in the "playoffs?" In addition, there have been over 100,000 at a soccer game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena...and that was a WOMEN'S soccer game.
DBAHO
Soccer would be bigger in America if they had betta players. Beasley and Donovan r good playa's but they ain't world class playa's.

I have no clue what goes on in any soccer around the world. I doubt I could name 5 soccer players from around the world. But it is near impossible to find it on TV at a time where I could watch it. That's really how I am...I'm not that big into soccer at all....I just heard that IU was getting close, and accidently ran into their game on ESPN2.....I just thought it was kind of interesting. I'm not big into either, but America's a goofy country. Everyone except the US loves soccer; however, it seems NASCAR and Indy Racing are very huge in the states. No offense to any fans, but I don't see what's so entertaining about watching people turn left 500 times.

Me personally, I would rather watch golf on TV than NASCAR. Hell I think watching people drive the Ryan at rush hour is more entertaining than NASCAR. Then I got into a certain driver - Jeff Burton and his brother Slingblade. You have to be into racing to be into it I guess. Certain races, I will watch only the first 25 and the last 25 laps. At tracks like Bristol, I watch the whole thing - Bristol is just like a demolition derby and the crashes are something else. NASCAR is definitely an acquired taste though.
