Chisoxfn
Michelle. I know you don't buy KW did this, but Cashman himself is quoted as saying that Williams came to him with the proposed 3 way deal.
Guest hotsoxchick1
lol after cashman already laid down the ground work for him.........expos and cashman had already been in talks weeks before this was even a thought.. and why did kw turn down a deal which involved el pukue anyhow if he knew it was what the expos really wanted.... this whole thing reaks of someone elses doings and not even close to what kw would have done.. cause you know damn right well he would have given up two important major players (ie. maggs type) and one minor and a whole ton of cash...........he cant resist it its just his style...............no this was the perfect camoflage for cashman and he took full advantage of it............. Who cares? The deal got done and it was to our advantage..... atleast for 2003. I'm one of KW's biggest detractors but I give him credit for this one. And big deal if Cashman was the architect. We got a potential 20 game winner in Colon and gave up practically nothing..... no Maggs, no Konerko, no Crede, and no C Lee. I'd like to know how this deal could be bad for us from the people that are so against it.

Fernando Tatis then "hey" i'll be all over him again. But for the time being...... kenny williams aint so bad.
