103 mph screwball
I'd like to get 2nd baseman Brian Roberts OR Jerry Harrison Jr. from the Orioles. This would give the Sox some speed. Either one of these guys would be a better leadoff hitter than Alomar. Better yet, if the Sox can get a true leadoff hitter to play CF, they'd be a good option for #2 hitter. Roberts Stats Harrison Jr. Stats What would it take to get one of them. Do we have anything besides Ordonez they'd need?

They said he made 300,000,000.
Gene Honda Civic
Did you see Hairston's salary according to ESPN? They said he made 300,000,000. That's a small price to pay for a quality leadoff man
southsider2k5
I would imagine the more guys that the O's sign, the cheaper that some of these secondary guys could get.
Chisoxfn
Jose Valentin for Roberts is a very very very plausible deal. I think the Sox would do something like that. Roberts is cheaper, very fast, and isn't coming off an injury. I think it would be a very nice pickup for the Sox.

maggsmaggs
Why do we want Hariston, he makes $300 million according to his player page on ESPN. Other than that, he would be a great leadoff hitter, from Naperville and dad works in Sox orgainzation, I think a A manager.
