I hope that this isn't Beane's backup plan to replace Hernandez, because it would make the Hernandez trade that much worse. I really think Oakland is going to take a hit, even with their talented starting staff. The lose of Tejada, Hernandez, Foulke, Guillen, Long, and Lilly(plus a couple of PTBN) and replacing them with Kotsay, Kielty, and Barrett so far, is a significant decrease for Oakland.
