cwsox
I agree with whoever said that if we trade for Nomar and then trade away Nomar it will really anger a lot of Sox fans if we trade away Nomar while we also trade away Mags, I will not have any parking problems at USCF next season I think a lot of posters are getting way too jacked up on things that are only possible and in the ever changing baseball world may never, ever happen - the sports media is feeding you stuff just for ratings - until the GMs annouce something, no one knows a damn thing however for all of you, I wish you to have the esperience that we once had a long, long time ago befor emost of you were born: the day we signed Carlton Fisk the day we got Greg Luzinski I still think way too many folks have way too many expectations of what may happen in the next few days based on rumors and speculations but for no other reason than what a kick it is, I hope something happens if only you all get the thrill Sox fans had when we got Fisk and when we got Luzinski (plus I think Nomar would be a great upgrade from StJosE6)
aboz56
I thought the last really big news was getting El Goo last offseason?
The Critic
I was very excited when the Sox got Luzinski, but I shrugged my shoulders at the Fisk acquisition.

BrandoFan
I hope something happens if only you all get the thrill Sox fans had when we got Fisk and when we got Luzinski I wasn't around for Da Bull......but if Jose says he is willing to switch to 2B and hit LH at all times, I would be VERY thrilled. And if Sox trade Konerko for Greg Miller, I would be on cloud nine.
Steff
I thought we gave up Myette and someone else to get him... I'm sure you are right. I was being a bit facetious as I really can't/couldn't stand him.
winninguglyin83
all i have to say is this: If we lose Magglio and then trade Nomar and have nothing to show for it except Odalis Perez, Mota and another overhyped Dodgers prospect (does the name Paul Konerko ring a bell? Dodgers prospects are always, always overblown). then i'm going to be major league pissed off. Ordonez is the best home grown outfielder this organization has produced in many, many years. He's durable as hell. He's a solid outfielder. His power numbers are outstanding. He can hit for average. He's consistent. We'd better damn well get value for him. Steff
If we don't keep him... Paul or Billy better be going on the trip with him.

Yeah, I wasn't really trying to correct you, I was trying to remember myself. The fact that few of us even remember how it happened speaks volumes. And WU83 I completely agree.
