DBAHO
Well there's 4 teams that'll end up gettin him. The Dodgers, the White Sox, the Angels or the Mariners. Wasburn, K-Rod and a stud prospect would also be a very good trade for Nomar, if he really doesn't want to trade Nomar to the Dodgers. KW needs a backup plan if Evans won't end up takin Nomar from us.
slick03
i think i would be happy if we got washburn, percival, and 2 prospects for nomar, i would have no problem with that

Not a couple of "shots in the dark".

Chisoxfn
I'd prefer the Washburn, Krod, top prospect deal if the Angels were willing. Thats the best deal out there imo. Krod is incredibly young and hte Sox would have his rights for a while. Washburn is entering his prime and is a proven American League starter and the Angels have some good pitching prospects to offer...although I don't think they'll give up Bobby Jenks an arm I've always wanted to see the Sox get. I'd also right off the chances of getting their top 3rd base prospect and catching prospects as well as Casey Kotchman. If they got Kotchman in that deal, I'd be stunned. I think it would be something more like Joe Torres or one of their solid potential AAA arms. My personal opinion Washburn > Perez Krod > Mota (Mota 30; Krod like 22 and has less service time) Dodgers Top Pitching Prospects > Angels Top Pitching Prospects
103 mph screwball
I know they are planning to non-tender Adam Kennedy. Would it be a wise move to try to add him to the trade? How much will he make next year? Why would I want to trade for a player that will be non-tendered? So that there is no bidding war for him with the Red Sox or some other team. I can think of several trade ideas with Seattle or the Angels that I would like better than the Dodger trade. I'd hate to load up on national league pitchers from a pitcher's park and watch them get shelled. I'd rather have Garcia or Washburn than Perez. bulokis
Washburn would be a good fit for us, another lefty in our rotation. I would prefer him over Odaliz perez. Somebody pointed out Mota is 30 years old and I would rather have a great young reliever in K-Rod. Then hopefully we trade valentin for Garcia. I just want more pitchers first before we worry about hitting. Seattle have Piniero and Meche up for arbitration also, I wonder if they would trade them though? His Elbow is Tender, that's why the ANGELS didn't want him pitching in the Venezuelan League this winter. I would like to see these deals (Angels) Washburn K-Rod Kennedy Prospect (Dodgers) Mota Isturis Prospect Prospect (Seattle) Garcia Soriano Prospect Lower Level Prospect These Prospects have to be close to Major league Ready Would Love to sign Arthur Rhodes
dasox24
To me, it seems like the White Sox being a totally different team depends on the A-Rod/Manny trade. I can't believe that one trade is having this big of an impact on the rest of our trades. I really hope the trade goes down so we can then trade Jose to SEA(if they're still interested) for Guillen or Garcia, and make the Nomar to Anaheim or L.A. trade. Our team would be greatly improved, and if we could sign Juan Gonzalez, our offense would still be pretty darn good b/c we'd still have Carlos, Frank, Crede, and hopefully Paulie would come back to his old form. Bighurt52235
I read at one point that the A's are the front-runners for Arthur Rhoades. Today I read that they were after Chris Hammond of the Yankees, and are more interested in that than Arthur. Also, I love Rafael Soriano. He is the real f***in' deal.
