spataro51
But i was hearing from the ap that boras said "I'm still in the middle of it," Scott Boras, the AL MVP's agent, told AP just after 5 p.m. so i dont; know what to make of this. do you think bud told them to stop but the sides are still going to try to resolve this then go to bud and say we have a resolution? CWSOX45
Guys, this deal is getting done. A-Rod wants to go to Boston, just because talks have ended for right now does not mean the deal is dead by any means. Nomar will be a White Sox by next week. (If not sooner.) spataro51
I hope your right cwsox, i think bud is just giving everyone some breathing room and a break so everyone can clear their thoughts.
cwsox
I hope your right cwsox, just a reminder the CWSox45 is a very separate person from me - although such a wonderful person, he is so much better than me!
CWSOX45
I have a feeling the more this trade gets dragged out, the less likley Nomar comes here. I don't. Who has more to offer the Red Sox than we do? Epstein wants Ordoñez playing for the Red sox this year. It would be foolish to deal Nomar elsewhere, unless he gets a better offer. (It would have to be a damn good one too.) I'm not sure what KW's intentions are once we do get Nomar, we'll just have to wait and see. toasty
selig said that arod and boston had to stop negotiations on contract stuff, but said nothing about a different deal i still wonder if boston wont trade for him, with the understanding that they pay him the salary due him this year, with the agreement that next year, his first chance to opt out of the deal, he opts out and then re-signs a new deal
