BrandoFan
Question: what are the terms of the contract? Considering how much local and overseas business Ichiro brings, if they got him for less than 5 Mill a year, good deal for the M's. Does anyone know details of Milton's deal? Eric Milton makes 9 mill this year. Ichiro was asking for 15 mil a season...the Mariners were offering 8-10 mill a season, but I have no idea what he signed for. Thats what i heard on ESPNnews yesterday. I'd guess 11-12 mill a year.
BrandoFan
9 Mill? Not bad for a 5.00 career ERA pitcher. Almost makes makes Ponson worth 7 Mill, doesn't it? I said 'almost'. And boy is MY thumb not on the pulse of the market for light-hitting, 25 SB, Gold Glove corner OF.......

Milton was useless, he didn't do anything for the Twins last year. The Twins GM is doing a hell of a job, considering the billionaire is telling him to cut all that payroll. He has added Nathan, Silva and others, kept Stewart and just needs to find a starter or two.
BrandoFan
Silva? Couldn't we get sometihng similar for Kong? Why don't Dodgers want to give up Perez for him, the bastards?

Cause the year before Perez was one of the best lefties in baseball. Even if you take his road stats. And I fully believe Perez will revert to that form next year. I like Perez...just not for Magglio.

We're getting a #4 starter and save about 3.5 Mil. Throw in Pacheco/Diaz and make it happen. Give them Ginter to shut them up. My god is Evans annoying or what.
