toasty
As I suspected, the ARod deal is NOT dead, however Boston cannot negotiate with AROD himself... nothing saying boston and texas cannot negotiate..... once again, IF it goes down, I wonder if there is any chance kw could get some cash considerations in the deal, letting valentine be on the bench, while not sucking up so much payroll
Chisoxfn
Scott Boras is going to be going back and forth between all teams and act like a 3rd person negotiator...kind of like an arbitrator and he can get the deal finalized.

Scott Boras is one of the Reason Baseball is Screwed. His Greed. He couldn't make it as a Minor Leaguer so now he has it for the teams.. in 5 Years this sport is gonna be dead, cause of Bora$$
YASNY
Technically, Boras cannot talk to Boston about ARod any more than ARod can, since he is Arod's agent. That's a no-no.
BrandoFan
The longer this charade of a mega-blockbuster trade drags on, the BETTER OFF ESPN and its media outlet sisters are. Almost makes me feel like this is all a MLB-ESPN ploy to keep fans super-psyched and tuning in every 30 minutes. I am numb and I almost don't care.
