greasywheels121
QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 11:26 AM) HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN I WATCHED IT RELIGIOUSLY AND TIVOED IT WHENEVER I COULDNT bad new greasy, he apparently will still work with espn and probably be on all their NBA coverage full time now Damn, you're right. I was under the impression that he was done after reading this. However, this article says otherwise: Smith's presence will be expanded across numerous platforms, the network announced on Friday. To wit: He'll be featured more regularly on "SportsCenter,'' NBA studio programming, and on ESPNEWS, as well as host four TV interview specials surrounding big events. In addition, "opportunities" with ESPN the Magazine and ESPN.com columns "will be explored," the network said. "Stephen A. connects with fans because he brings great energy, knowledge and strong opinions," Norby Williamson, ESPN's executive in charge of remote and studio production, said in a statement. "While `Quite Frankly' delivered strong interviews and discussion, this new role will provide a better showcase for Stephen A.'s impactful voice to be heard across numerous forms of ESPN media." "Yes, it's true, and I support ESPN's decision," Smith said. "Doing a brand new show on ESPN2 was a tremendous challenge and I'm proud of what we accomplished. "I've learned a great deal. I've also learned there's limits to what I can withstand in regards to my schedule. Now I move on to future challenges - while enthusiastically embracing old ones like writing for The Inquirer on a more frequent basis. This is not an end for me. This is just the beginning. I'm just getting started."

greasywheels121
My favorite random ESPN show is Madden Nation. I haven't seen any episodes of this second season (I need to find a random marathon or something), but I randomly saw the first season in the middle of the night this last year. Kalapse
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 15, 2007 -> 11:11 AM) Hilarious when it started...then not so much...I guess you can only rip off MST3K so much... I haven't seen it in about a year but they have had some excellent shows, I imagine the format would get pretty stale after a while especially when they're mocking low quality sporting events with very little entertainment value on their own. witesoxfan
I think Cheap Seats was cancelled because Steve Garvey didn't host more events.

I swear my waist is 29-30 inches. I swear I have the smallest waist. And just because I have those two 'assets' it looks like I'm not fit. I was just in the locker room staring at my body and I'm like, 'Am I not fit? Am I really not fit? Or is it just because I have all these extra assets that I look not fit.' I think if I were not to eat for two years I still wouldn't be a size 2. No matter how slim I am, I always have this [points] and that [points]. We're living in a Mary-Kate Olsen world.
