BridgeportHeather
BTW, have the Slacks won ANY game in OT yet? Yes, and it came against the Dead Things... I was at last night's game, and, at least they were able to get a point out of this game after trailing by two midway into the game. I'm not happy with their lackluster performance (especially by Archie) in OT though. I'm going to the next two games as well...MAYBE they might beat San Jose tomorrow night? DBAHO
I heard the postgame show ( on the way home from a friend's house - couldn't stay til Midnight, my wife has to work today ), and I heard them praising Shamnov. They said he deserved to be a star of the game, ahead of Mark Bell. Bell had a goal AND an assist, while Sham had a goal and won a little more than half of his faceoffs. Scott Nichol won a higher % of HIS faceoffs, so I fail to see what huge lift Sham gave the Slacks. BTW, have the Slacks won ANY game in OT yet? They should probably stop wasting the 5 minutes, just take the one point, give the opponents the 2 points and let the 6,000 people in the UC go home. That really givs me the s***s bout this organisation. Mark Bell is the one guy on this team who has played his ass off all year long, prob been our best and most consistent forward, and they praise Zhamnov instead afta just 1 game. Not only that but Sutter has him on the 3d line. I know coaches are stupid but this one must ride the short bus to the UC every night if he has his leading scorer on the 3d line. NUKE_CLEVELAND
I'm going to the next two games as well...MAYBE they might beat San Jose tomorrow night? 2 things. I think they are solidly on track for 11 wins before the All Star Break next month and I just wanted you to know that Dollar Bill appreciates you buying him some cigars and scotch with your money. The Critic
Dont take ANYTHING that Jesse Rodgers says seriously. He is sooo bad, its unbeleivable he is still on the air. I respect him because he is the only one who gives the sorry franchise any play, but he is just sooo bad, and doesnt know a thing about hockey. I think Rogers drew the short straw, and the punishment was to be the Hawk guy. There's a reason that their pre-game show is only 10 minutes long - there's nothing to talk about with the Slacks. ...at least nothing GOOD...except for the occasional fluke victory over the Red Wings or Blues. Then it's BACK to scoring NOTHING against the Penguins or dumping an OT game to Calgary or Columbus or Anaheim....
southsider2k5
Along with Zhamnov getting back, the Hawks are supposed to get key defenseman Bryan Berard back tonight.

Now all the pieces are in place to make it to 13 wins by the All Star game.
Texsox
Did you see or attend the All Star game back in '91? That rendition of the anthem and the massive, flag waving screaming crowd still brings tears to my eyes after 12 years. When he sings by himself he's unf***withable. I had tears in my eyes. I'm just glad the announcers explained it to the national audience.
