witesoxfan
We have Gordon, we should go after Cruz Jr as well. After that, I say we sign 3 very cheap starters to minor league deals...and then have a friendly competition as to who will be in the #5 spot in the rotation between Rauch, Stewart, #1, #2 and #
sox owl
Would love to see Ivan Rodriguez in a Sox uniform next year especially given the Sox woeful catching situation but there is just no way. Baltimore already offered him something like 3 yrs at $6 million per and he said no. I don't see the Sox coming up with more than that and the only other thing they could offer over Baltimore is that he would be playing on a 'contender'. Of course we all know how much the Sox have 'contended' the last two years.

Despite his stats last year, he could have solid stats as a pitcher, in the AL Central Cruz, is good, yet we got rios already Daubach-good power driver, we could use a bench player Finley would be good since we got some left over $ Gipson-good young player Gordon-Signing was announced Helling-he's an ok #4 or 5 Hermansen has good potential Lee-no doubt Lieber-Sox should sign to a 2-year 600,000 deal in minors with incentives Lloyd-good reliever that was I believe if I am right was an allstar last year Lofton-why not? KW is that stupid. Morgon-Good Mentor, still has got a year left in him Palmeiro-we already got rios, but he would have been sweet Parque, Person, Rodriguez,-All injury prone, but could be capable of coming back except Parque Saenz-Hes a good bench player Sierra-Good Power hitter, too bad we got rios instead Suppan-Why not? Minor League deal should be in order... Vander Wal-Belongs here, we got rios instead Villone-Good stuff, just has a lot of injuries Wright-Why not for #5. You happy Kempers, I was probably asleep when u guys were arguing my posts. See I back up statements.

First of all, I have the right to say what I want here, thats what makes this board NOT WSI. Second, how can you say something as stupid as "you have no right to call him out" because I am telling him he is dumbass. Then you sit here, and call me out and tell me how to act? Makes a ton of sense. Please don't talk, it's not helping you.

bulokis
Our bench seems to be our weakness right now so I'd say we get Cruz Jr. and split time with Rowand. Any of the two in the bench or the starter adds our team depth. Gipson is interesting, Daubach and Vander Wal are good for our bench. I would also say we need more pitching so Helling would be a great move. He started 30 games or more last year. He can be our #4 starter and or a luxury as a #5 starter. Hermanson is also interesting along. Suppan, Im not sure bcoz he has a career ERA of 5.00 I think. But the best move I can suggest is sign Lieber. Sign him 2 years, even if he doesnt start this year or just half of the year we have him for 04 season. Who knows what can happen this year and if Colon resigns back we have Buerhle-Colon-Garland-Lieber-Rauch or Wright.

YASNY
My guess is the lawn ornament is not going anywhere, and I believe he will be our DH in 2004. I have a feeling that this will be Thomas's last year with the Sox.
