witesoxfan
My thoughts on that mock draft, 1 - Doubt the Lions will take Winslow that high at no.6 unless they trade down. Sean Taylor is more likely, they really need a young safety. 2 - Steelers will be stoked to take Roethlisberger at no. 11 but I think sum time is goin to trade up for him like the Bills (if they cut Bledsoe), or even the Dolphins. 3 - If one of the stud OT's is still on the board at no. 10, I think the Bears could trade up to select one of em. I'm really hopin Kevin Jones slips to 20 for the Cowboys and that would be a HUGE steal. IMO, I think the Bills will have to see another s***ty year from Bledsoe to go trade for someone else. I think this year was more bad coaching and a bad offensive line then it was Bledsoe just sucking. However, if Bledsoe does have another crappy year, I could see them maybe giving up their first or second round pick next year for Drew Henson's rights, because it is quite obvious he is going to come back to football. Or maybe they just totally rebuild and they draft Leinart next year, or some other stud college QB(I'm not really sure who a stud QB could be that will be in the draft next year, but the Bills could surely draft one then and use Bledsoe for another year, or something like that....that's a long ways off in the future to think about though) BTW, I personally doubt Kevin Jones slips to 20. There are a few too many teams who could use a good HB that have higher picks then the Cowboys.

I heard they hav to pay Bledsoe a 6 million bonus this offseason hence why it's been rumored the Bills will cut him.Yeah I doubt Jones slips to 20, but it's also not out of the question Parcells could trade up a few spots for him as well. Why would you trade up when you can have Willis McGahee for that first round pick? But seriously, if the Cowboys would want, and I were the GM of the Bills, I would do that in a second. Henry proved last year that he can carry the load and is a premier back. His stats may not show it, but when he played well, they played well. When he sucked, they sucked. I would love nothing more then to see Henry be the one and only back in Buffalo. Also, I remember reading an article somewhere that mentioned that Bledsoe got a vote of confidence and that he would not be cut just because he had the worst season of his career. It's like I said, if he has any protection whatsoever, he has a good year. He's going to get sacked, and that's a given. But there's not much you can do about it. It's kind of hard to look past though. I mean, you look at his days with New England, and you see losing, losing, and more losing under Drew Bledsoe, but then he gets hurt, Tom Brady comes in, and before you know it, the Patriots win a Superbowl, and two years later, they are in prime position to go and possibly win the Superbowl again. I don't think it is out of the question that the Bills could draft a QB to develop....say John Navarre or Jeff Smoker or Jared Lorenzen....all are guys that could be decent QBs in the NFL, though all are slow. Chisoxfn
The Bills were interested in Fassel because they want an offensive coach that will get it through Drew's head that he needs to change his mechanics so he has a much quicker release. They say that Bledsoe's mechanics are all out of whack and whoever they hire will likely be an offensive mind (Although I now hear Jauron is the front runner...man, just think what Shoop could do with Drew...LMAO). If I were the Bills, I'd give up on Drew.

I don't think the Cowboys would offa a first for Willis, they would want a sure thing at RB and Jones or Jackson would be nice. And if Jauron and Shoop join the Bills, well u thought Gilbride was bad, just wait for Shoop.
witesoxfan
If the Bills hired Jauron, and Shoop is then hired....I'd be speechless. That would be s***ty as hell. If they did that, I would go to Buffalo and I would b****slap the person who hired him. That's worse then hiring Wannestedt. Hey, atleast they'd have consistently good draft picks. DBAHO
In sum mock drafts that I've seen it has the Redskins taking Kevin Jones or Stephan Jackson at #5 since Joe Gibbs really wants a RB. Do u think he still wishes they had Stephan Davis?
