maggsmaggs
It was: Maggs Schoenweiss Cotts Borchard for Perez Mota Miller D. Roberts I don't like it only because of Cotts, but Miller is a helluva pitcher and I guess I would probably do it if the Dodgers agreed. no souce however, probably just another made up rumor. That Trade Sucks. Don't belive any thing you hear on WSI. No way in Hell we give Cotts and Borchard and Only get Miller in return. If prospects are included I want Jackson too if were giving that up. Evans is the one who's supposed to overpay not Kenny. If that deal went down Kenny sould fired on the Spot
southsider2k5
That trade is BS, we would be giving away our franchise player, plus a LHP, plus our top prospect, a LHP, and one of our top hitting prospects for an overpaid attitude problem, a 31 year old reliever with one good year under his belt, a top prospect, and all speed no hit CF. No way this deal is for real.

The Critic
I'm tired of hearing trade rumors, especially with the Dodgers. I'll just wait for an official announcement. Remember, that Konerko trade was "all but done" about a month ago, if not longer.

Spiff
I didn't think we had Schoenweis anymore. But either way it's crap, totally not gonna happen.

Yeah Schoenweis is here after a last minute deal before it had to go to arbitration..... The White Sox tendered a contract to arbitration-eligible LHP Scott Schoeneweis just before the Dec. 20 11 p.m. deadline, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The team now has time to work out a contract with him before arbitration becomes necessary. If the pitcher and White Sox do end up in arbitration, Schoeneweis could be granted between $1.5 million and $2 million for next season, according to the paper. I guess I'll be the first one to say I'd be okay with this deal if it is true. Giving up Maggs and Cotts is sad, but Scott S. is expendable and Borchard needs to move on (we need to move on without him). Getting Perez and Mota are huge, and Miller is great (the only thing I'd like more is if it was Jackson instead). Roberts will be a decent CF if Rowand can't handle it, and he has succeeded as a lead off hitter. I'll believe this deal when I get proof, but like I said, I'd be okay with it. elrockinMT
I read this babbling rumor over at WSI and responded to it: A rumor is like the passing wind, or passing of wind: It stinks. If it is true, and I think not, it would not be good for the Sox.
cwsox
just rumor and a lot of emotion expended needlessly
witesoxfan
That would be worse then Wells, Fogg, and Lowe for Ritchie. Did not happen, will not happen...well, not like that anyways
greg775
Why would we trade maggs, borchard and cotts?? If we make this deal maybe Reinsdork has lost his mind.
DBAHO
The possible deals with the Dodgers are gettin worse by the minute. No way we giv up Cotts just to get only Miller back. I don't mind including Borchard in a deal, IF we get a real good package of young pitchin in return for him.
