AssHatSoxFan
looks like stephon marbury along with Penny is headed to the Knicks in a 7 player deal here is the link for more info http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1700818
southsider2k5
Wow score a big win for Isiah Thomas. To get Marbury for that load of crap is a steal. The only thing that might save the Suns is if the Knicks #1 pick ends up being a top 3 pick in the lottery.

Spiff
If the trade is finalized, it would represent a major shakeup of both teams. Phoenix, in exchange for its best player, would be gaining salary cap flexibility that would allow the Suns to rebuild a team that was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season after missing the postseason a year earlier. The contracts of McDyess and Ward expire at the end of this season, and Ward has a buyout clause that can be exercised before Jan. 10. I suspected that was why Phoenix made this deal, big contracts that expire after this season are extremely valuable. I think it's a good trade for both teams. greasywheels121
This is definitely a great trade in favor of the Knicks, but w/ all the players involved it will be the Phoenix Knicks and New York Suns...... I wonder whatever happened to Penny. He was the next Michael Jordan in his Orlando days. He's gotten better of late, but he's not the old Penny. He's great w/ playing 20-25 minutes a game now a days. DBAHO
Suns r desperate to rebuild, guess this means they r tankin it for da season. boy has Thomas done a job or what, I'd almost call him GM of da year so far, and he's only been in da job for bout a week. I think the key player in this for the Suns is Lampe. He could become a Pau Gasol type at Center for em eventually. Ward's contract will expire at the end of the season, but I dunno takin Eisley was a good idea. Think Penny's gonna be happy stuck behind Houston? I can sense another trade on da way. Think Penny and Norris to da Cavs for Ilgauskuas and Miles with da Cavs chuckin in a future 1st rounder. Man I should be a GM sum day. WHarris1
The Bulls better beat down on them tonight. Marion is the only regular starter in the lineup. Other than that it's Barbosa, Harvey, Voshkuhl, and someone else.
southsider2k5
I just saw on ESPN's bottom line that Lamje was in the deal, and was sent to Phoenix. Now it is a little more interesting for the Suns long term. Lampje, two number one picks, and a lot of cap room next year.

Hold on a second, based on my logic, that trade you said would be: Knicks get: Big Z D Miles 1st rounder Cavs get: Penny Norris No chance that'd ever happen because the Cavs would never do that. Now if you just made a mistake and the Cavs were getting the 1st rounder, maybe they'd do it as a salary dump in Cleveland.

Knicks hav been tryin to dump Moochie on da Cavs for Miles but they haven't been buyin. But Z's contract runs out in 2 years but Penny's finishes in 3, so I'm not so sure they'd do it now. Plus major reason Suns did this was they want a shot at Kobe Bryant in FA.

DBAHO
I Think the Suns did pretty good. They'll only hav bout 8 mill to offa Kobe apparently in FA. I actually now think that the Suns will trade the Knicks first rounder which will prob be in da teens for Nikoloz Tskitzvilli from the Nuggets. D'Antoni used to coach him in Europe, and now with Anthony holdin down SF he can't get any playin time.
