Anyone else have a fear of the dentist?

I haven't had braces yet, but that is next on the agenda.  Get the work done that I need done and then gear up for braces.  Being 27 and having braces probably won't be fun, but gotta get it done.

My sister had braces for a couple of years. It's too bad she fainted the first nite she had em as well.

I have to make sure to get the clear kind.  It would suck to wear metal braces when I get married...

Why not get the trays instead..? Or the ones that go on the backside of the teeth? A co-worker has the trays and loves them. They took a lot of getting used to, but at least none of the cleaning hassle or the cuts on the inside of her mouth.

I heard that your teeth couldn't be too messed up to get trays. my need a good bit of straightening and moving. (They were squished by my wisdom teeth and didn't unsquish as much as the dentist thought they would). If they are a financial and physical possibility, I will definitely look into them.
