YASNY
That's sad to hear. Tugger was on of my favorite non-Sox players ever. I liked his enthusiasm on the mound and his sense of humor off of it. RIP Tug and condolences to your loved ones.
Wong & Owens
This is weird. Yesterday afternoon, on the Mac, Jurko and Harry show, they were having a sports "Dead Pool" contest. One of the callers picked Tug McGraw.
Pastime
That caller was the earliest winner in the history of that segment, and no one will ever win that fast again unless they call in and then drop a piano on the person they chose. By the way, that's one of the funniest segments in radio, year after year.

He had far more personal courage and class in facing down the brain cancer than any ha ha ha hijinks of guessing when people die on a sports radio show. YASNY
Does anyone remember Tug's comic strip, Scroogie? It was nationally syndicated and was actually pretty funny.
