NUKE_CLEVELAND
Apparently one Slackhawk fan wasnt too pleased with the team snatching defeat from the jaws of victory the other night against the Oilers. Their pathetic "Power Play" unit gave up 2 short handed goals in less than a minute. Towards the end of the game with the Slacks losing 4-3 after owning a 2-0 lead in the first period and not putting up any kind of effort to tie the game up, a disgruntled fan took his jersey off and threw it on the ice. I know the weather was bad but there were only 5000 souls in the UC and those that were there booed constantly after Edmonton took the lead in the 3rd period. I know management doesn't give a s*** about the fans but thats a pretty bold statement by the home "crowd".

That is a nice symbolic gesture, but it's meaningless. Worst will just have it washed and sell it as new at FANDEMONIUM!!! Better to sell it on eBay and at least get a couple bucks for it. ...or use it to wash the dog...

What was I thinking? Nah, he'll just sell it at Fandemonium or Hawk Quarters without washing it. You know that running the washing machine costs money, laundry soap costs money, running the dryer costs money. Hell, he'll probably mark up the price 100% and say it was "game worn" which is not technically a lie but.......
