BridgeportHeather Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Pekin is a town just outside of Peoria...It's pretty much your typical central Illinois hick town, and it's three hours away from Chicago. There is absolutely NOTHING around that area (or in central Illinois, for the record). You KNOW you're in nothingness when the lead story of the newscasts is about a farmer who's tractor broke down!
