bulokis
Heard it on 670 the Score. They signed with the Rangers. I guess pitching wins baseball and "grinders" in KW's plan is just another way of saying we aint doin s***.
aboz56
Ginders are players who are bottom of the barrel scrappers that KW can sign at the last minute in attempt to fill out the 25 man roster before spring training starts.
JDsDirtySox
We desperately need PITCHING. I can handle Rowand in Center (with the possibility of Borchard) and I can handle Uribe and Harris battling it out at 2nd... but man do we need pitching. Sign someone....anyone! These starters are still out there. Andy Ashby Pedro Astacio John Burkett Ryan Dempster Shawn Estes Jose Lima Rick Helling Damian Moss Ron Villone and Sidney Ponson Wow other than Ponson, that really is scrapping the bottom of the barrell. I just think KW is playing find the next ELO
southsider2k5
Greg Maddux is still out there, granted he isn't coming to Comiskey...
zach23
Greg Maddux is still out there, granted he isn't coming to Comiskey... I am betting KW will announce at Soxfest that he has signed Maddux. The only problem is it will be 42 year old Mike Maddux
bigred3535
The only problem is it will be 42 year old Mike Maddux Hey, let's be fair. Mike Maddux had a pretty good season in 1991. I'd take him over "The Show" in the starting rotation, anyway...

DBAHO
I'm still holdin out for Moss, and I doubt he'll be goin back to Baltimore if they sign Ponson and Maddux.

There is a name I forgot all about. I would take him as our number three or four. I am happy with JG as number three for right now.
YASNY
Moss was 10-12, 5.16 ERA and 1.67 WHIP and is age 27. Garland was 12-13 4.51 ERA and 1.37 WHIP and is age 24. Everyone wants Moss and yet Garland is bust. I don't get it.

Plus he's still pretty young for a lefty and I think Coop could get his control problems straightened out.

I want Garland around on teh Southside for as long as we can keep him. He can become IMO a solid #2 in time.

I just think ppl expected too much from Jon especially afta that performance he put up in Boston. He'll be a good Major League Pitcher for a long, long time. The key word is good, not great which will hav some ppl dissapointed unfortunately.
