southsider2k5
exactly what i was thinking The way his knee swung sideways, I don't have much doubt. I hope I am wrong, but that is about the most ominous injury I have seen.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
mourn the hawks because their dead. The Hawks have been dead since 1997. The mortal blow was the Roenick giveaway in 1996. The last gasp for life was the 96-97 season. The Belfour giveaway was the final shot to the head by Wirtz to put this horse out to pasture. The fluke that was the 2001-02 season was rigor mortis. The Sullivan injury, since he was the only veteran player on this team with any heart was just another nail in the coffin. ------------------------------------------------- Chicago Blackhawks Hockey R.I.P Remember the Roar
southsider2k5
Personally I was thinkin it was a Posterior Cruciate Ligamint. Honestly by the look of the injury it could be all 3 (ACL, MCL, PCL) I guess we will have to wait for the obit.. I mean injury report to come out. I mean injury report to come out. I assume you were joking, because to tear the ACL, MCL, and PCL, that would have to be one HELL of a hit. McGahee only tore his ACL and MCL after getting damn near getting his lower leg taken completely off in the Fiesta Bowl last year. You'd think that he'd only tear two because his ligaments were strong, but I don't care how strong your ligaments are, if you get hit that damn hard right on your knee, you're gonna be in pain, and when I saw it initially, I thought he would need a complete knee reconstruction and that he was done. southsider2k5
The official diagnosis is a deep knee bruise and Sully might play in the Hawks next game The TV angle just must have been odd and really misleading. That is great news though.
