for the record -- I know you all are waiting with baited breath --

0-for-18

Cry! Cry! Cry! Cry! Cry! :crying

Get over yourself man. Just because there hasn't been a buzzer-beater doesn't mean that there hasn't been some great games. Buzzer-beaters happen only once or twice per tournament anyway.

I'm just upset that everyone went to the Norhwestern School of Last-Second-Shooting.

Seriously though, there is NO such thing as clutch shooting. One would expect that if the average shooting percentage for the entire tournament field is 40%, those last second shot should fall at a rate within a standard deviation of 40%. 40% of 18 is about 7. It would be resonable to expect at lest 5 of those 18 shots to fall. And this tourny has produced nothing of the sort.

No clutch shooting? Are you kidding...

Clutch shooting doesn't have to be buzzer beaters.

Carroll and Allen both had clutch threes last night.

Then Bynum with the clutch three for Tech.

And that's just in the last two games.

You can have a clutch shot that isn't a buzzer beater.

I agree wtih willie, there haven't been any buzzer-beaters, but there's been aplenty of clutch shots. There are at least 2 games that are sticking out right now, that kansas game earlier today, that 3 sent it to OT, that's pretty clutch. And then the 'bama-SIU game. SIU scoring, then bama coming right back down and scoring, clutch.

it's all just your perception... the shots should still fall within one standard deviation of the norm.

A shot that is made in the first 10 seconds of the game is of the same value as the shot in the last 10 seconds... I'm just pointing out that they should be made at a better rate.
