Heads22
Hey Soxheads, can you give me some more Hilton Magic and beat the Longhorns. That would really help my Jayhawks. We're sure as hell gonna try. The Clones lost at KSU 90-59 so I'm hoping they can go on some sort of crazy run to sneak into the NCAA's. Beating the Horns would be a nice start. danman31
The Big Ten race is getting very interesting. Wisconsin leads the way at 7-2, with MSU at 8-3, and U of I at 7-3. Then the middle of the pack has a boatload of teams looking to get the 1st round tourney bye as well as improve their resume in some cases. And to close, Northwestern is 6-5 in the conference after using a 30-2 run to beat Penn St.

WillieHarris2
Northwestern has been on a hot streak lately taking down Purdue, Wisconson and Penn State. Big Ten race is getting very interesting
danman31
Wow congrats.....IU and Purdue (Round 2) is about to start! Yeah, I'm watching. If Purdue loses it's NIT time. You can't lose 2 home games in a row this late in the season and expect to stay on the bubble like Purdue.
whitesoxin'
14-9 Purdue early on. The crowd in West Layfette seems into it.
greasywheels121
14-9 Purdue early on. The crowd in West Layfette seems into it. Very bad start by IU...w/ 12 minutes to go in the first half...Leach has 2 fouls while Kline has 3....They need to stop going man to man if this is the case. greasywheels121
Not a pretty first half....Purdue is up 35-25 at the break. Purdue just needs to continue to do what they're doing. They're playing great defense and hitting their free throws. IU needs to be careful on defense, we have so many players in foul trouble. The only bright thing I see in going into the 2nd half as an IU fan is, we always play one great half and one ugly half. This was IU's ugly half. WSoxShuf
f*** yeah Iowa State beat Texas, this puts KU in a much better position for its 3rd straight big 12 crown.

WSoxShuf
That is fine, but I guess next Saturday ISU can come to the feel the phog.
WSoxShuf
Major props to the Purdue fans for the standing ovation after the Kline injury.
Heads22
It depends wha tISU team comes to play...the one that beat Kansas, Texas, Missouri and Iowa, or the one that lost to Baylor, Kansas State, San Diego State and the like.... Hoo boy...
WSoxShuf
We can play the same with KU. The one that killed TT, or the one that got killed by OSU. But, KU very rarely plays poorly at Allen.
greasywheels121
Major props to the Purdue fans for the standing ovation after the Kline injury. Agreed....Big blow to IU. Though we were making a run to comeback before that happened, that is just going to kill any momentum. Unfortunately, the question is how many Purdue will end up winning by? Heads22
And while watching ESPN 2.....since the Iowa State Big XII games were not picked up in E. Iowa.....I was in my room listening on the radio....and I've been watching a heck of a game between Bowling Green and Kent State...catch the final part if you can now... Heads22
The Big XII seems to be at the point where talent is being spread nicely throughout the league and anyone can beat anybody...and I think that's great.
WSoxShuf
The BIg 12 lost a ton of quality players last year. OU, KU, ISU, UT are all very young and will be scary. Stinson, Padgett, Lavender, Giddens, Tucker, Kleiza all amazing freshman. the BIt 12 lost Hinrich, Collison, Ford,Ere,Price
greasywheels121
Well Purdue wins 71-56.....IU and Purdue split the series this year, w/ both team winning on their home courts. IU has got a ways to go if they want in the tourney. I say if we can go 10-6 in the Big Ten and win at least 2 games in the Big Ten tourney, we'd have a remote shot. Anyways, congrats to the Purdue fans.... <_>
