greasywheels121
What's your favorite color? Nah, but really I'm just rooting for a good game in this one. I'm not exactly pulling for either side.
whitesoxin'
As always, I'll fill all of you in on the Valpo scores. They won tonight against UMKC, 90-78. They were down down by 17 with 3 minutes to go in the first half. They gained 29 points in 23 minutes! Anyways, they advanced to the championship of the Mid-Continent Conference Championship game for the tenth straight year. I know Valpo never gets any respect around here, but come on! They have won their conference 9 of the last 10 years! Give them a little respect. You should all watch the game tomorrow night on ESPN 2 at 6 cst. and cheer on my Crusaders! I'm definitely pulling for them. I hate to see IU not make the tourney. And with Purdue and Notre Dame having down years as well, Valpo could be the state of Indiana's last chance at getting a team into the tourney. The state of Indiana has always had some kind of representation in the tourney ever year since 1974.

They were saying how everyone in Indiana should pull for Valpo for that reason, no IU, PU, and probably no ND.
Chisoxfn
Go Cal State Fullerton Titans...YEAAHHHH They play on Wednesday against Cal State Northridge and I'll get off my ass and go to the game to support them.
danman31
SMS vs. UNI is a heck of a game. The best mid-major conference in the country is on display. The 2nd and 5th best teams (according to the reg season) are playing here and both are quality teams. SMS made a good run to get back in the game and now it's tied at 50. You gotta love the MVC. danman31
Manhattan survives a bad night from Luis Flores to beat Niagara 62-61. Niagara never gave up, but came just short. This was not the best Manhattan can play. Watch out for them in the tourney.
danman31
Double overtime in St. Louis. What a game! Meanwhile, IUPUI beats Chicago St. to clinch that a team from Indiana will make it (they play Valpo in the final).

danman31
Damnit that sucked. I was rooting for SMS. Oh well. UNI is in. Heads will be happy.
Chisoxfn
Heck ya Heads...that was sweet with UNI getting in. Awesome game. Alex, you got any idea where Tom Davis is coaching? My dad told me he got a gig this year and thought it was for one of the smaller schools in Iowa. I'm just curious to know how he was doing. Your probably happy he was forced out cause it was basically the end to Iowa's basketball program, which is now 2nd to Iowa State.

The Bones
Damnit that sucked. I was rooting for SMS. Oh well. UNI is in. Heads will be happy. Yeah, I was cheering for SMS too. I don't know why they didn't give it to Merrill Andrews more often. It seemed like everytime they needed a big shot he seemed to come up with it. Oh well, I just thought that SMS would have a better chance at upsetting someone in the tourney.
Gene Honda Civic
The Zags had a relatively easy time handling st. Mary's. That's good for those bubble teams, saving at least one more at-large spot.

The state of Indiana has always had some kind of representation in the tourney ever year since 1974. That is so sad. With the teams in this state, there should be at least 3 teams in. It is pathetic when either Valpo who has lost 12 games, or IUPUI who has been D1 for 2 or 3 years now, is going to be our only rep.

southsider2k5
Doesn't ND get in??? They have a lot of qulality wins. I doubt it. They have a lot of losses and bad losses. They need a big run in the Big East tourney...
Elcaballo45
I doubt it. They have a lot of losses and bad losses. They need a big run in the Big East tourney... I think they are in if they win 2 games in the Big East Tourney, because 2 wins would signify that they beat UConn as well, so I think they will get in if they do that. They have a good chance to do this too, because Okofer might not even play in the Big East Tourney at all because of back problems, so ND unfortunatly has a good chance.
