fattyguy78
From Rotoworld: Twins signed RHP Rick Helling to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training. Although Helling might still be useful as a middle reliever, he's no longer capable of helping a quality team as a starting pitcher. The Twins will give him a chance to win a rotation spot, but they need to keep looking for upgrades. Not a major signing or anything but its more than we have done lately.... jasonxctf
watch him win the #5 spot in spring training and then promptly win 15 games this yr. then again he's never had an era under 4.30.
mac9001
I think Helling will become a pretty good middle relief guy for them. I doubt they give him a chance to start.

The_Godfather
Cotts has yet to play a full year and Rauch hasn't played at all but wright has been better then helling in the last few years and he isnt anywhere near the exp. that helling has so what does that tell you. I rather have Erickson then helling Helling is a s***y pitcher plain as that

JoshPR
Ohh Goodie now he can serve up some homers to the Sox... Helling is Brutal. He won 20 games with an ERA close to 5. Person was nasty in Philly but.... Astacio's rehab has gone to pot, Guess he'll be signed for way less for the stretch run for some team. I guess Damien Moss sould be looked at

Rooftop Shots
To Whoever! Sorry for my lack of understanding, but I'm still rather new at this and needed some help. I have an idea on how to get a picture underneath a post through another previous thread answer. My question is, what the heck does the word avatar mean, and in the "my controls" section, you can either edit avatar settings,(add picture), or "Change Personal Photo". What's the difference in them both, and how do you get them on the post? Is the avatar a Logo, etc,? And is that the choice,"OR Personal photo" that gets pasted in the upper left of each post? In the meantime, Still looking for the right pics. Also, I noticed that I can never change my font sizes or boldness! Thank You to whoever responds! C.Rector
Minnesota's signing of Helling is a classic case of substraction by addition. This is good news for our side. Helling should serve up a lot of HR's for the Sox sluggers, assuming that Ozzie gets over his bunting kick.
YASNY
The Sox have always knocked Helling around pretty well. I hope we see a lot of him in our 19 games vs. the Twinkies.
