Mathew
The Marlins are a doomed franchise, with nobody watching and Loria owning and 10 mil for an ageing injury plagued catcher. Brutal.
LDF
i think i-rods gonna do some serious declining next year then we won't after him, however if he does post some decent numbers and olivio is a bust then we go after him.
supernuke
He has a reputation as a bad game caller. That young pitching staff could be in trouble.
mac9001
Trust me, Pudge isn't worth it. Every pitcher in Texas said he didn't know s*** about pitching and let a lot of balls go by him. Were better off with Olivio and Alomar.
cwsox
I never liked IRod, glad he is not with us.
supernuke
Our offence was third in the AL in runs scored and that was with guys like Clayton and Mark johnson on the team. We didn't need Irod. Olivo's arm is as good as Irod's and his offence has to be at least as good as Johnson's probably better. As long as he learns the finer points of the position from Alomar he should prove to be an excellent catcher, we didn't need Irod.

I actually agree with you hsc. I dont know why but I never liked the idea of getting IRod this offseason. Hes falling fast and besides, we have enough catchers. KW made a move passing him up...
