SuperSteve
According to mlb.com, he is still unsigned to this day link Guys I'd take whom are still free agents: Mesa (why not, give him a shot if price is right), Prokopec (minor league deal), Osuna, Simon, Sauerbeck, Urbina, and G. White.
Wong & Owens
Guys I'd take whom are still free agents: Mesa (why not, give him a shot if price is right), Prokopec (minor league deal), Osuna, Simon, Sauerbeck, Urbina, and G. White. Urbina wants way too much money, and I wouldn't touch Mesa with a 10-ft pole. Mesa's really never been that good. I'd certainly take a shot at any of those other guys on your list--especially Sauerbeck. Wasn't it only a couple years back that he had the best batting average-against vs. lefties in the league? I thought it was him, I could be wrong though.
fattyguy78
Sauerback is done for the season....this is from rotoworld.....Free agent Scott Sauerbeck reportedly will undergo shoulder surgery next week and miss the season. This could explain some of his problems from the second half of last season. Sauerbeck has failed physicals for both the Cubs and Reds this winter, forcing him to undergo surgery. Spiff
Yeah Sauerbeck was terrible with Boston last year, everytime I saw him pitch he let inherited runners score.
