From showing every single zit on Hideki Matsui's face during the playoffs to allowing one to count nose hairs belonging of a hockey player in a locker-room, this sports media obcession with close-ups is INSANE.

I do NOT want to see every wrinkle, pimple, sweat drop and eye vein of my sports heroes, keep cameras away at least a few feet, Jesus....At least with celebs they are beautiful people with flawless skin to begin with and are heavily made up with appproate lightening and sometimes digital re-touching, so there is no problem, but man it's impossible to watch sports interview now, they leave NOTHING to imagination.

So media b****es, how about cut that annoying s*** out. Say NO to zoom-ins, is it too much to ask? This s*** has been bigging me for sometime. There absolutely NO need for it.

Espesially in a non-constant action sport, the extra cameras in baseball are so underutilized that they end up getting lots of those kind of shots.

I loved the camera angle they used when they replayed Raphael Furcal's one-man triple play-- refreshing.

And, once again, extreme close-ups SUCK when they are done on Kristuin Krook on Smallville. But when it's done on athletes, it should go under crimes against humanity. :fyou
