The Bears were pretty good. Bradley is still one of the Top 25 teams in all-time Division 1 men's basketball victories and still has the most basketball national championships of any Div-1 school in Illinois. Also a couple of marquee alumni like Chet Walker, Kirby Puckett, and Hersey Hawkins. Everyone knows of the Jays recent success. Drake blows at sports. They do have a beautiful campus. If anyone is looking for a small university in the Midwest, I would give Drake a shot. As does Evansville. Illinois State sucks. :). Indiana State is known for Larry Bird and the 1979 National Championship game against MSU. Northern Iowa has Kurt Warner. SIU, also a good program now. Wichita State is one of the best baseball programs in the country. I saw them last year. They are good.

How many championships? Doesn't Loyola have a championship too?

1999 and lost to Duke.  that is what I thought I couldn't remember the year anymore.

That wasn't a very memorable tourney, except for the final game, Gonzaga making it so far after a splash the year before, and Szcerbiak bringin Miami to the sweet 16.

Was that the Ohio St team of Scoonie Penn and Michael Redd?

Yeah that was the year of the OSU backcourt. I always remembered that year because of SMS, because I knew Alford from where I went to college. A few years before that he led our college to the D3 basketball national championship game, which incidently we lost to Bo Ryan's Wisconson Whitewater team. It was the only time in NCAA history that two undefeated teams met for a basketball championship.

Illinois State

Is known for Doug Collins, as well as beating Tennessee in the 1998 NCAA tournament in the Stallings era.

Oh, and Wichita State has a killer baseball program. They're on the Baseball America Collegiate Top 25 list almost every week. And SMS made it to the CWS just last year. I'd say our conference is rather tough when it comes to baseball.

Think harder, there has to be a better claim to fame than that.

I got a letter from Drake. I don't think I even opened it though. Hell, I'm only a sophomore, why the hell would I give a s*** about college now?

Also, I heard Drake has a decent track and field program. Also, Drake has the honor of losing a basketball game by 52 while scoring 110. Some defense they have allowing 162 points in a game.

They are known around the world for the Drake Relays. Also, they won the game by 52 over Grinnell, 162-110.

2 - Health (Requirement for juniors)

3 - PE / Study Hall

4 - Analysis (2nd semester is considered pre-calc by our teacher)

5 A - Varsity Concert Band

5 B - Varsity Concert Band

5 C - Study Hall

5 D - Lunch

6 - AP Literature and Compostion

7 - Human Anatomy and Physiology Block 1

8 - Human Anatomy and Physiology Block 2

And I have basketball practice after school now, and will have tennis later in the year.

Grinell isn't able to attract the athletes that other colleges are, so thier basketball coach has implemented a program to make the team competitive...

By running, and throwing up 3 pointers.

Shooting 50% for the game is a good standard, a high standard, but this is what the principle is based on...

If team A takes nothing but 2 point shots making half of them, and team B takes nothing but 3 pointers, team B would only have to shoot above 33% to win the game, assuming the same number of shots...

Basically they exploit 3 point line, the advantage of taking more 3point shots.
