marsh
http://fantasysports.yahoo.com/analysis/ne...lgns&league=mlb here's a link to an article on yahoo analyzing the last three years of data to figure out which are the best hitter/pitcher parks. i was surprised to see pittsburg as a hitters park especially since it ranked 22nd in home runs. i thought that yankee stadium and cincinatti's stadium would be higher up. it ranks comiskey at #8 and a hitters park but i don't think anyone would be surprised by that. southsideirish
I think a better look at how hitter friendly a park is is the HR rank. PIT is 22nd, Yankees are 11th, and CIN is 3rd in that category. In runs scored it depends on how good the home team's lineup is as well as how poor its pitching and defense is. I don't think PIT's overall rteam pitching and defense has been all that great. Just my opnion.
