SuperSteve
That site has little credibility, they've got Gamble going 29th... No, you are wrong. They have Gamble ranked as the 29th best player in the draft. It is not technically where they have him going.

Sorry for my misjudgment, but either way you look at it, he's not going 29th and he's not the 29th best player in the draft. He'll go top 15 at the worst, top 10 most likely. And you can book that. whitesox61382
That site has little credibility, they've got Gamble going 29th... As someone else pointed out, it is an overall ranking and not where they project them to go in the draft. It is actually a very credible site run by experts and scouts. There are some rankings that I disagree with as well, but I am sure I haven't seen most of the guys play as much as they have. Besides, I do think Gamble is a little overrated. Mathew
I tend to disagree with your pick of Chris Gamble for the Bills. People are thinking Mularkey will want to draft a receiver(whether it be a TE or a WR). I think they are a team that could trade up. Personally, I feel it depends on what the Redskins do. If they feel Rod Gardner is a good enough compliment to Coles(which I think they will do), they'll draft Winslow. However, if not, I think they'll take Roy Williams, leaving Kellen Winslow available. At that point, I think Buffalo is a candiate to trade up to get Winslow. I think it's very possible that the Bills would trade Josh Reed and their first round pick to Atlanta for the #7 pick overall, and then select Winslow. I doubt that kind of thing happens, so if it doesn't happen, I see them either taking Reggie Williams out of Washington or trading down and taking Ben Troupe out of Florida. I do not think they take a CB though. I'd heard Pittsburgh sending Buress and their 1st for T.J. Duckett and Atl's 1st, would make sense for both teams and kinda shows that Falcons pick for recievers rumours are flying.
1549
It is so hard to make predictions before the combine. Last year, Robertson's (from kentucky) value went way up, and Suggs was said to be too slow and his value dropped. Of course then Robertson had a terrible rookie season with Jets and Suggs had a nice year for the Ravens.
witesoxfan
I'd heard Pittsburgh sending Buress and their 1st for T.J. Duckett and Atl's 1st, would make sense for both teams and kinda shows that Falcons pick for recievers rumours are flying. Both would make sense for the Falcons, and both would make sense for the Bills and Steelers. In the Bills trade, the Falcons get a solid WR(Reed is nothing great, but will be a solid WR in the NFL), and the 13th overall pick, without giving up any players. In the Steelers trade, they get a receiver with much more talent who had a down year, but also have to give up one of their two solid running backs, which really doesn't matter all that much, and they get the 11th overall pick as well. All I will say is that I bet Atlanta trades down, and that a receiver is in the deal. Whether it be to Buffalo or Pittsburgh or even another team....I do think they will trade though. Also, WHarris13, I see the Bills taking a CB in the 2nd or 3rd round, maybe even the 4th, or getting one via FA. I personally think the Bills will draft a receiver of some type, whether it be Winslow, Troupe, or Reggie Williams, hell, I could even see them trading down a little and taking Clayton out of LSU(I don't think he's top 15 material, but I think there's a shot he could sneak into the top 20....I wouldn't bet on that though). I also think they'll take a QB at some point in the draft, maybe Matt Schaub out of Virginia, Josh Harris out of Bowling Green, Jeff Smoker, John Navarre, etc....someone like that. So if they take their QB in the 2nd, I'd look for a CB in the 3rd, and if they take a CB in the 2nd, I'd look for a QB in the 3rd.
whitesox61382
One QB that I think is a major sleeper is Phillip Rivers. Scouts hate his ackward side arm deliever, but its hard to argue with the sucess he has had, and what he has done for a program like NCS. It comes down to "numbers" versus "tools", and IMO Rivers has that special something to be a very good QB. He reminds me a lot of Tom Brady. Rivers accuracy is remarkable, and if you put him in the right offense(a short passing attack/west coast offense similar to the Patriots) you could have yourself a great QB. He is a winner with a great attitude and work ethic, and could be a great pick in the 3rd or 4th round(if he lasts that long).

The dolphins are definately going to be taking a QB, in FA or the draft... Rivers impressed this weekend at the Senior bowl... I think Marino wants an experienced guy though. He wants Brunell or Warner.

I think Marino wants an experienced guy though. He wants Brunell or Warner. I too think the same thing. However, if Rivers falls to Miami in the second round, I think they snatch him up and make him into the future QB. I highly doubt that happens. If Pittsburgh doesn't trade up to get Roethlisberger(which is highly, highly unlikely), and Rivers gets to them, I could see them taking him, or if he falls to Buffalo, I see them taking him and grooming him as the future QB. Steve, he may not have the same magic, but is he not better then Fiedler and Griese?
southsider2k5
CBSSportsline has this as their early mock draft. The Bears are picking a DT from Maryland. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/7216880
dasox24
That Sportsline draft is pretty good, and I like the Bears picking Starks at #14. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bears maybe take Will Smith, Ben Watson, or Ben Troupe, if all the guys from picks #1-13 in sportline's draft are gone.
