Cy Young Porzio
today espn said he owed like $150,000 in taxes cuz he couldnt afford to pay his 1998 bill. I thinks its pretty f***ed up to be talking about a guys money issues or tax problems. They have nothing to do with him as an athlete or getting his ban reappealed. Some times they just go to far and it is bulls***.
cwsox
whenever a celebrity owes $150,000 back taxes it is news - always is news - it is public record - Willie Nelson's tax problems for example were news until he paid them off - so I am not sure I understand what you are objecting to - help me out please -
Cy Young Porzio
well its always f***ed up when it happens i was just talking about this one because it is the most recent. cwsox
you live in the bright lights, you gotta take the heat - you can't be a celeb and keep some things secret. You want to live in privacy, do not seek out the limelight. Since Rose is convicted felon and since Rose lives large and is always thrusting himself onto the scene, that is the price you pay. Wasn't that along the lines of what Rose went to jail for before? Then it was undisclosed income that he did not pay taxes on, as I recall (but I could be wrong.) MurcieOne
I've got 2 words for this situation........ "f*** Rose" The guy is a real prick, and he deserves everything and more for the way he has treated people over the years. I think you greatly water down the game if you allow people like this scum bag to just say "sorry" and become reinstated. When that decision was laid down......it was a LIFE TIME BAN FROM BASEBALL..... your pissing on the commissioner who made it.
cwsox
I didn't want to say that - glad you did! Somewhere along the line you think Rose would say, do I need to rent this limo or maybe I should pay my taxes... some poor person sells their food stamps and everyone cried, fraud! Some rich person blows off their taxes and it's leave them alone! I know what I pay every week in taxes (I make out the payroll checks at the office) and if Rose ain't paying his, I will glady have my tax dollars go to locking his ass up... again.
