maggsmaggs
He is currently hitting .615 with 4 homers. Maybe a sign of a Magglio reburt in the power numbers.

maggsmaggs
I got it through Baseball America, which has a free "Prospect Report" with all the the prospects during the regular season and during winter league, it has the main players or top ones that day. It actually is very cool. Also, 4 years $48 million would seem good for Magglio now, hopefully he resigns. Maggs is no Vlad, just a couple million dollars less valuable. greasywheels121
Hopefully we have a respectable season, and Mags can at the least play the whole 2004 season here. I really hope something miraculous happens that he ends up staying here when it's all said and done.
southsideirish
Maggs said he WILL test the FA market, so dont expect the Sox to sign Maggs any time soon. I still think Maggs could be back after this season, but he will go out into the market. I keep hearing this. Was this through his agnet that he said this? Rex Hudler
According to BA, the Venezuelan Winter League ended Jan. 7 and Maggs only played 3 games. Were these playoff stats? I can't find anything to match your numbers. Help?
Elcaballo45
Thats good to hear his numbers were up, because i remember someone posting that Mags hadnt had only 1 double thru 9 at bats with 3 or 4 K's.... So now he's doign the opposite of that i guess.

It's either the Caracas Lions or the Magallanes Sailormen. Our League Finished today with Ponce winning the Title. The carribean series Starts December 1st in the Dominican

Unless the player plays in another league and that would Disqualify him from the Carribean Series. Let me see what i can find

JoshPR
(AP) The Oriente Carires tied the Final Series of the Venezuelan Winter League beating the Aragua Tigers last Saturday. The Carires sealed the win backed by a solid pitching performance and solid defense. The Carires starter Tim Harikkala pitched solid baseball through the first seven innings giving up only one run . Orber Moreno anc Closer Elio Serrano pitched the 8th and 9th witout giving up anything. In the Second Inning Chicago Whitesox Outfielder Magglio Ordoñez hit a long Doble to center and later reached thrid on a Luis Gonzalez single. Eliecer Alfonzo hit into a double Play but Ordoñez scored the first run for the Carires who scored again in the 5th and 6th when Alfonzo and Robert Perez hit solo Homers. Carlos Silva got his first victory in the finals while Andrew Lorraine took the loss

Pastime
Willie Harris - He is currently hitting .501 with 1 HR, 14 RBI, and 24 stolen bases in just 12 games. ????? I figured if people were just making up phantom stats, I would join the mix.
