TLAK
Baseball Notes Rangers' Cordero OK after bug bite Rangers reliever Francisco Cordero checked into the hospital this week as a precautionary measure to watch for dengue fever after being bitten by a mosquito in the Dominican Republic. He is expected to leave the hospital today or Thursday. "I talked to him, and he said he feels fine," Rangers pitching coach Orel Hershiser said Tuesday. Rangers medical trainer Jamie Reed said Cordero had not complained of any of the symptoms of dengue, which is primarily a disease of the tropics often accompanied by a rash or fever. The hospital decided to keep Cordero as an inpatient so it could monitor his blood for the virus every 12 hours. He is not expected to suffer any lingering effects of the bite. -- Kathleen O'Brien Is there something unsaid in this story, a guy goes the hospital because he got bit by a mosquito? ... and I know Olivo got sick and went to California. Is there some kind of epidemic going around the Islands that hasn't made the papers up here?

Mosquitos carry Denque when old water and Junk is Left around, there's different kinds of denque 1 of them being deadly. You get High Fever and stuff. Happens a lot after large amounts of Rain fall and People let water acummulate and sit for days. The Denque Mosquito is a lil bigger than the Normal No Epidemic, but it does have it's seasons
