CSF
Hawk rules! I remember last year in the Metrodome when Torrie Hunter robbed CLee of a home run, Hawk was already saying "You can put it on the board......NO!" You could just hear in his voice how pissed he was. Of course, those bastards at ESPN played that bit a couple of times on Baseball Tonight. But it's ESPN, so I should know better by now. YASNY
people are agreeing with me way too much lately, something's up I agree!
knightni
Sorry, I'm probably the only Sox fan who can't stand Hawk (or DJ for that matter). No, sorry.. you're not the only one. Hawk is the worst play-by-play guy in the majors. I cringe at his stupid "Put it on the Board". I wish John Rooney did TV.

Jose mentioned that exact play when he talked about the Twins using the Airconditioning to cheat.
The Critic
I, for one, don't really like any of the four of them much. Harrellson - grown on me *a little bit*, but still too small-town hokey for my tastes Jackson - doesn't really add much, IMO, plus Harrellson doesn't seem to like him, which makes for some weird tension in the booth sometimes Rooney - would be great if he didn't have that "radio voice" Farmer - his monotone puts me to sleep, and his talk of golf and love of ShamME bothers me as well I almost always turn the TV volume down and play music while the Sox are on, and rarely listen to them on the radio anymore, except for Spring Training - I'm suffering for the sound of baseball right now, so I'd listen to RON f***IN' SANTO if I had to!!!! Last spring's Ed Farmer silliness - claiming that Frank Thomas "has to have a good spring or he may not make this club".
knightni
Ban this guy, I dont think he is going to bring any thing to this site, I only see problems. HEY! Hawk sucked as a GM and barely makes it on TV. I'd hate to get blasted for an opinion, but...

Just a point for our new guy,( and welcome BTW), green text indicated sarcasm or a joke...

Whew... sometimes it is hard to follow mood on the internet. And it is really hard to follow inside jokes sometimes if you are new. Any problems or questions just ask!
