Guest wsc425
Eddie Perez and the Milwaukee Brewers agreed Friday to a minor league contract, and the catcher was invited to spring training as a non-roster player. Perez, 34, spent last season with the Cleveland Indians and hit .214 in 42 games. He has appeared in 367 major league games with the Indians and the Atlanta Braves and has a .252 career average with 24 homers and 108 RBIs. Perez would get a $500,000, one-year contract if he's added to the major league roster and the chance to make $150,000 more in performance bonuses. YASNY
This is one veteran catcher I'm glad we missed out on. The Brew Crew is going to be AWESOME!
