Gene Honda Civic
Ouch big oops for MTV... thats mega MEGA bucks their gonna miss. MTV is just a scapegoat -- a red-headed-step-child, if you will-- CBS and MTV are owned by the same company and share the smae interests... The difference is MTV can take the controversy(it may actually increase viewership), CBS can't... CBS's statement "CBS deeply regrets the incident that occurred during the Super Bowl halftime show. We attended all rehearsals throughout the week, and there was no indication that any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS broadcast standards, and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended."

I posted an article that talks about it, and specifically mentions a tassel. Also has two different pictures, including her covering herself up. HuskyCaucasian
These are a few of my comments on “Boobie Gate”. Anyone who says this was not planned is flat out lying. MTV’s press release about the incident says “The tearing of Janet Jackson's costume was unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and was inconsistent with assurances we had about the content of the performance.” Justin Timberlake added “"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."” If you watch the video, Justin reaches over her right breast, digs his fingers into a gap in her outfit and rips a cup away. This is a malfunction how?? Was it supposed to shot off fireworks or something? When someone rips a cup off, one would think the boob would be exposed. PLUS, she just “happened” to have a sun medallion encircling the exposed nipple? Hmmmmmm……. Sounds a little fishy to me.

I smell a conspiracy.
cwsox
MTV had been hinting all week about some shocking thing with janet Jackson - but they didn't name Justin Timberlake as performing until half time began - now the song goes "I'll get you naked" and the dance they did before that line was sung was very suggestive - these are two of the most choreographed people in the world - since I know the song and the lyrics, I expected something the moment I heard the first two notes of that song - that was as planned as all hell and very effective for getting people to remember the half time show - it will be covred all week on ET and every other show of its type and everywhere else too - great PR going into sweeps month. Zzzzzz....... Justin's Gramma sadly wasn't available for comment.
Elcaballo45
my brother says that the lyrics to the crappy song he was singing say "I'll have you naked by the end of this song".... It's most certainly intentional... but the real reason I know it's intentional is that it will get people talking... even I'm guilty... So this is the last time i reference it.... Janet Jackson = = attention Whore i must say Cheat, that is the coolest smiley icon i have ever seen !
Texsox
Moments earlier I told me son that the half time show just dropped about 4 magnitudes of talent having Janet and Justin out there. I thought Janet jumped the shark about 15 years ago and Justin, well I've never followed his career. Well they both managed to point out how desperate people become as their celebrity fades away. The NFL should try and get 1 star at a level field with the game and give that 1 star 12 minutes instead of trying for a Vegas Review.
