Soxplosion
I voted that Tampas D won it. That does not mean however that I dont think Gannon played awful and that he choked. Even against Tampas number one D no other QB threw five interceptions this year. So, with him leading the leagues best O he shouldnt either. Tampa played great and they deserved to win but Gannon was not there, no Raider was... And who won the mvp? My foreign exchange brother changed the channel right after it ended and I never saw it. Who was it?

Lemme check...
Soxplosion
Jackson had two picks and was mvp. Dwight Smith had two picks, both of which he returned for touchdowns. And Derrick Brokks had one, which he returned for a touchdown. Tampa Bay had as many defensive points as Oakland had offensive points. I must congratulate them, the Buccaneers played like a Super Bowl winner should play. Good job Bucs!
DonkeyKongerko
Rich Gannon actually had 5 TD passes and is my MVP: 1 Jerry Porter 1 Jerry Rice 2 Dwight Smith 1 Derrick Brooks
witesoxfan
The Raiders played like s***(Gannon included) and then when they finally got their s*** together, the refs blew a couple calls badly which took the last breaths out of Oakland....the first one was when Charles Woodson was called for pass interference on McCardell...as I told roman, I'd run from South Dakota to Chicago and streak across Comiskey Park in the home opener with the words "Carlos Lee for Gold Glove" written on my front and back if he could have caught that ball and gotten both feet in bounds. The second one that was blown was the 2-point conversion where Porter actually did catch the ball in the air and was then pushed OB while still in mid-air, and no one saw it....let alone the numerou sother plays where the refs favored Tampa tremendously...like I think on Oakland's second 2-point conversion attempt, someone on Tampa was offsides and that call was missed...Oakland should have been given another shot at the 2-point conversion....that could be maybe a swing of 7 points from the PI call and then you could add 4 points to Oakland's score...while taking away 7 from Tampa because Gannon just threw that last INT to Smith out of frustration and what not....and I see the possible score being 34-32 Tampa, but that's not even factoring in a possible game-ending drive for Oakland that could have ended in a Seebass GW field goal. This game was a lot closer than the actual final score showed.
Cy Young Porzio
i give a lot of credit to tampa offense who controlled the clock and kept their defense off the field enough to keep em strong with a good run game and put points on the board.
