sox4lifeinPA
rio chiba that one already looks better. (oopps...a LOT less memory) another rio this might be larger than the one you're looking at. I just know that rio tends to be really good, from what I've heard/read

DBAHO
I'm goin to pick up a MP3 player when I'm in Kuala Lumpur next week. Pretty sure I can get 1 a lot cheaper.
WHarris1
Now the only thing we need is a 'Willie's mp3 fund'

fullcollapse
i love my ipod, and the .aac file format, it sounds better and is smaller than mp3 or wma. the battery on it is great too. worth all 30,000 cents i paid for it. http://www.apple.com/ipod/
sox4lifeinPA
hey fullcollapse... have you had to get a new battery yet?? did you read the article that was out about apple apparently not making new batteries to buy for the ipod? you either have to buy a new one or send it in to apple to get "serviced" how funny is that? .....oh yeah...not funny
fullcollapse
nope still have the same battery. battery problems were mainly with generation 1 ipods, i have a gen 2, they are at gen 3 now. however, at http://www.ipodbattery.com/ you can get a replacement battery for $50. i have heard very good things about this kit. the included screw driver is a plastic that won't even scratch your case. my battery lasts 10-12 hours and is over a year old. also you can use fire wire, which is faster than usb 2.
sox4lifeinPA
cool...I just remember reading something quite assinine like basically they assumed you'd just go buy a new one instead of going through the hassle. yikes Apple=Chisox two of the worst Public Relations represented companies....do they have the same firm doing PR?? can we look into this?
