greasywheels121
I'm not big on fantasy baseball, but I ran across this on MLB.com... So much for diminished skills. Thomas made a triumphant return to the fantasy radar in 2003 as he knocked out 42 HR, drove in 105 RBIs and scored 87 runs. His .267 average was a bit low, but you can live with it. Thomas should replicate these numbers in '04 with a bump in the average toward the .280-range. He had a very strong second half and wasn't merely an April and May guy. In an auction league, his sheer potential for MVP-type numbers will get him near 20 bucks, but it's all worth it for The Big Hurt. DBAHO
Loaiza's da 25th ranked Starting Pitcher behind such names as Bartolo Colon, Jose Contreas, Brandon Webb and Wade Millar. Buerhle was ranked 35th, he should be in da top 25 at least. They only expect 14-16 wins with a ERA of 3.75/

marsh
If you're a bargain hunter in this type of league, Buehrle's your guy. buehrle doesn't rank as high in fantasy because he doesn't strike enough people out. i would rank webb, bartolo and probably wade miller ahead of him. SuperSteve
Maggs ranked higher then Sosa man i love it, Maggs finally gets recognition for being the best right fielder in town. :fthecubs That is not recognition that he is the best RF in town. 99.6% of people do not play fantasy baseball, especially I would guess Cubs fans. So, it means nothing too much. It has to be said on SportsCenter for most Chicagoans to hear it, or atleast on PTI.
SuperSteve
Your right Steve, Sosa is still way more popular than Maggs, and im not really sure Maggs can really do anything to become more popular, other than mabye playing in a bigger market. But Baseball people know that Maggs is an all around better player than Sosa is. If he was on a team such as the Yanks, BoSox, Cubs, or a team along those lines, he would be much better known. I do not think too many people outside of the White Sox Nation know anbody besides Frank Thomas on our club. It's a sad fact.

Pastime
99.6% of people do not play fantasy baseball, especially I would guess Cubs fans. It's hard to participate in fantasy baseball when you are too drunk and/or too stupid to know how to use a computer. :fthecubs
