Brian
I never watch the show, just usually flip it back and forth with something else. Beyonce and Prince opened up...yawn. It seems like you can stick any 2 musicians together, and people will say it was "an amazing collaboration", no matter how lame. Hey, let's have Madonna sing with Radiohead. That would be "an amazing collaboration."

Cali
If you gave me a choice between watching the Grammy's and dislocating my knee again, I might seriously consider the latter
Brian
exactly now I am watching every minute of the grammys and this beatles tribute with vince Gill and Sting is lamer than Prince and Beyonce but what the hell Damn, that was the one part I was kind of interested in seeing and I missed it. It is only 30 minutes into the show and they have had like 3 performances. Where are the awards? I would of thought maybe McCartney would of came out for the Beatles thing. Unless I misunderstood and that tribute has not happened yet.

Gene Honda Civic
headline stolen from Fark.com Ad opposing online music piracy to debut on Grammy award show. aboz56
let me direct you to dictionary dot com.....look under "douche bag" his dog's names are "Head", "Ima", and "Deek" I think I'm going to compare you to someone we all love. Jay Mariotti. He makes his living ripping Chicago sports teams, you make yours ripping the Beatles. In fact, I think you've probably commented on every Beatles thread to ever grace this board. Give it up.

The Seinfeld's Jason Alexander came on stage acting depressed..."I gave her the best 8 hours of my life." Found this in my local paper today, It looks like Britney Spears' brief marriage to Jason Alexander wasn't just a stunt after all. The singer is reportedly still dating her childhood pal. Spears 22, exchanged vows with Alexander on January 3, but annulled it just 55 hours later. But a friend of Alexander says the pair are still dating because their parents want the, to give their relationship a chance.
Pastime
The Grammys of last year, (or the year before that - hell if I can remember anymore) where Nora Jones won a ton of awards is the last one I will ever watch. She's a decent singer and a decent piano player, but she didn't deserve half the hardware they gave her. I guess she knew who's asses to lick. And how much have you heard from her since? Thank you. The Grammys have turned into a joke and a farce. I have better things to do with my time than watch 3 hours of media-generated bulls*** and overhyped rhetoric. Hell, I had sex with my wife yesterday night - not because I wanted to, but because it was a way to pass the time and a way to avoid the Grammys and/or the dumbass NFL Pro Bowl. At least she'll leave me alone for a while, so that's a positive. I really need a f***ing hobby.
