southsider2k5
They looked good today tying the game late in the 3rd and winning on a Ruutu goal in OT. The kid is finally starting to come around, and the return of Zhamnov has really done it. Too bad he won't be around too much longer because they are a much better team with him. That is pretty obvious.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
See, I hate when people say that. I understand when people say that, and there right, there only screwing up a better draft position, but I would rather see the kids start playing better(Bell, Calder, Ruutu,Anderson) than seeing us not win another game. I will still end up with the 3rd or 4th pick, and who knows what kind of picks they will get for Zhamnov, so im happy to see the Hawks win. Here's my thing. Why cant they play like this when it matters? If they are gonna tank the season at least get that part right.
The Critic
They're at best a mediocre team with everyone healthy, because that's what they were built to be. The injuries made them worse this year, but only because their horrid ownership and management provided ZERO depth. They've written this season off to prepare for the lockout anyway, so there's no reason to give one s*** about how they play this year at all. Now they've FLOWN past Washington and tied Columbus as only the FOURTH-WORST team in the NHL. Kudos to them for this late-season push toward the lower-middle of the pack. When Thibault and Daze return, LOOK OUT CAROLINA AND ATLANTA, CUZ YOU'RE NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Critic
Flown past Washington? There two points in front of them, and if they lose to them today, there tied, so not exactly flew by them. And the rest of your post was basically what I said so I agree. "Flown past" was meant as sarcasm, so I guess the green was in order. I agree with your agreement, so we're in agreeance! Slackies drop a BIG GAME against the Crapitals. 4-0 losers - what else is new? Uhhh, the sun came up this morning and the Slackhawks got owned by a s***ty team in their own building. All seems to be right with the world today.
