Chisoxfn
Jamal Crawford, JYD, and Eddie Robinson for Aaron McKie, Glenn Robinson and Aaron McKaskill. I saw this on Bulls4ever and a guy and someone that is an insider on the site (He's actually be right on more then one ocassion) say that a deal is done. The insider just confirmed that a deal including Crawford and Robinson went down. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I think this would be a very very bad move by the Bulls. Personally I want the Bulls to acquire Aaron McKie for JYD (Insert Erob into the starting lineup with McKie coming off the bench at the sf/sg). Then deal Marcus Fizer for Melvin Ely and Keyon Dooling or Marko Jaric. The Bulls replace JYD with Ely who has a lot of upside, but is also a very able body and a solid defensively player. They also get their backup point guard and a backup guard that will be around for a while. These both would be good short term and long term deals. Chisoxfn
Its being reported on Philly radio now and it may be a done deal. Glenn Robinsons 14 mill a year contract is up at the end of next year.
Chisoxfn
God, this would be a freaking terrible trade. This would set the Bulls back years, imo. Why the hell would we want Glenn RObinson. He's selfish, doesn't play defense, and is old. I'd of much rather had Jalen Rose. Now if were getting Iverson, thats another story
Chisoxfn
Here is a little better news (Two deals I Would do any day of the week). If Fizer isn't included in that deal, talks with Orlando are still alive, according to a league source. The Bulls would receive the Magic's Tyronn Lue and Gordan Giricek in return for Fizer, who is prepared for anything. "A lot of guys have been in the situation that I'm in, where they go to another place and have a great career," Fizer said. "Maybe it's time for me to do that." Paxson also is still talking to the 76ers about trading Jerome Williams for Aaron McKie and Amal McCaskill, a league source said. McKie has told confidantes that he is prepared for a trade. Chisoxfn
They are also working on a Fizer deal that would land the Bulls Doleac and a full others for salary cap purposes. If they got Doleac, you would have to think it means JYD is gone.
WSoxShuf
What the f*** is wrong with the ownership in this town. JC and Kirk were just clicking, and now trade him so more free agents can shaft us this offseason.
Chisoxfn
I should state, while their are insider opinions, KC Johnson's article mentions nothing of this deal. I'm going to trust his opinion more then these so called insiders at Bulls4ever. But your right, it would be terrible, freaking terrible. Does any1 know how good of a defensive player Fizer is? Giricek will giv u instant scorin off da bench, while Lue's actually had an ok season early, and can always guard an Iverson type well to give Hinrich a breather. If Fizer comes to Orlando, Gooden or Howard will be goin to Minny for Olowokandi or to Philly for Snow and McCaskill mayb.
WSoxShuf
Fizer would not know Defense if it smacked him in the nuts.

Which may be possible considering they're getting tired of his act in Philly. That being said.... JC isnt going to be traded. JYD-FIZER-GILL only people going anywhere. MurcieOne
J-will finally bought out, finished the deal, the bulls now have that roster spot. so the deal for multiple people is prolly more likely to happen now. If we get Ely and Dooling for Fizer... i'll spend all day Dooling my wiener in excitement.

Chisoxfn
Dooling is way better then people think. WHen healthy this guy has the ability to be a pretty damn good point guard. I'll be happy with either of the rumored Fizer deals: Ely and Dooyling; or Giricek and Lue And Fizer plays absolutely no defense, but he has the potential to be an explosive low post scorer. Isn't Drew Gooden likely to be moved by the Magic??
WSoxShuf
Bring Gooden in, Kirk and Drew are very good friends from Kansas days. I spent many days smoking weed with Drew.
The Bones
I would love to see the bulls get Jaric. I would actually watch more games just to see him play. And I'm with you Jas, that first deal sounds terrible.

Fizer plays no D, well no-one else on the Magic does anyways. Howard is more likely to be moved 1st though, so Drew can actually get 30-40 mins a nite startin. MurcieOne
Dooling is a pimp, and I like Ely's potential as well (Ely = A better younger version of Fizer) If we can get these two kids... im estatic. Just dont trade Jamal as he is learning to penetrate and get to the line.

Just dont trade Jamal as he is learning to penetrate and get to the line. He took a few bad jumpers today, but all the rebounds were nice and he and Hinrich really seem to be meshing well. I see a lot of movement between the two of htem and then it results in an open shot for one of them or a snap pass to another player that ends up being open. Plus he really has been driving to the hole a lot more. Paxson better not deal him, Skiles has done a great job helping Crawford out (Although you also have to give Crawford the credit). I hope the rumors of Crawford going somewhere are false. Get McKie, Dooyling and Ely in here and let the Bulls play again and then if you want to make a deal, use the high pick we will have or go after Okeafor. MurcieOne
Bulls believe it or not think they still have a chance at making the playoffs. Skiles laid out a plan for the team. But Eddy Curry said it was a secret A back court of Hinrich and Crawford is a future playoff backcourt in the east.
DBAHO
One GM said Emeka Okafor was another version of a Stevan Hunter. Hmmmm. I think Crawford bites the dust and leaves Chicago anyways to join Melo up in Denver. The Knicks could also be an option but they r goin to use their mid level exception on Rasheed Wallace. DBAHO
Bulls report from Hoopsworld, And there was much rejoicing in the land of the Bulls, as the young Chicago team knocked off two playoff teams in a row. Granted, they were both Eastern Conference playoff teams with losing records, but nonetheless, based on statistics, the Bulls should have lost both games. The fact that they didn’t gives some hope that the second half of the season might promise better things. Tuesday’s game against Toronto also presented some cause for optimism. Jamal Crawford set a career high for rebounds with 11, Eddy Curry scored his first NBA three point basket, and Eddie Robinson had a relatively clear path to a slam dunk, and instead passed off to give a lob to Ronald Dupree. The Bulls, slowly but surely, have started to grasp the idea that if they pass the ball to each other, good things happen. And yet, the question remains: will the Bulls need to revamp their player introductions again after this Thursday, the NBA trading deadline. Following the Jalen Rose trade, Jamal Crawford inherited Jalen Rose’s spot in the team’s opening graphic, while Jerome Williams got Jamal’s old slot. Now there’s talk that Jerome Williams may be headed to Philadelphia for Aaron McKie. While I’d love to add McKie’s three-point shooting ability and offense to the team, especially as small forward is a weak spot for the Bulls, losing Williams, especially after he’s found such a warm reception among Bulls fans, would hurt the team’s energy level. Tyson Chandler and Eddie Robinson do bring energy off the bench, but Williams has that certain spark that all successful teams seem to need. If the junkyard dog is traded, look for Kirk Hinrich to inherit the coveted introduction spot. If only there was a way to trade Marcus Fizer, the Bulls’ other most-popular trade bait, to get McKie, life would be a lot better. Speaking of which, it’s a pretty sad commentary that after four years in the league, most of which was spent developing into a solid role player off the bench, Marcus Fizer is valued by teams because they can write his contract off their books this summer. Fizer isn’t Ben Wallace or Kenyon Martin, but he’s not Chris Dudley or Jack Haley either. He should get a little better treatment. However, after watching him fail to get into the Bulls’ blowout of Boston last week, it’s pretty clear that whatever skills he has, the Bulls don’t see them. WHarris1
Good god, don't trade JC, Pax. That would be abseloutley awful. We need to trade Fizer for Dooling and Ely. Then JYD for McKie.
