CSF
I'm hoping for positive optimism from him. Something, anything over this Cubbie koolaid they're serving.
CSF
Wunsch said Carlos Castillo has slimmed down, and that Koch is in great shape.
CSF
Not much more on the interview with Wunsch, but he did say that the players should be more loose under Ozzie. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
mac9001
A slim Carlos Castillo? I refuse to believe that. BTW, i hope Koch has his s*** back.
SoxAce
BTW, i hope Koch has his s*** back. We all do dude. His season this year could make or break the sox as far as games.

Swieca asked Wunsch along with Koch being in shape if he had his 5 mph back on his heater? Wunsch said he wasn't sure.
Flash Tizzle
BTW, i hope Koch has his s*** back. We'll find out in a few weeks. With a limited workload (53 IP) and enough time to work out any problems with his "mechanics," there should be no reason he doesn't show up to Spring Training with his velocity in the mid to upper 90's. CSF
Swieca also said that most of the Sox position players are already in Tucson. Time to get that bonding time in. :
mac9001
Wouldn't be great if Frank shows up tomorrow, looks at reporters and says "I'm ready to play some ball". If that happens (it won't) i'll take it as a sign and start saving for playoff tickets.

I think Ozzie Guillen will be such a breath of fresh air... that this team will find it's way. Look for Joe Borchard to have his coming out party as well...... i hope/
mac9001
I sorta have this feeling Rowand will kick some ass this spring. Him and Crede could very easily have big breakout seasons. I know some people are down on Aaron, but i feel he has all to tools to become a good CF.

DonkeyKongerko
Is anyone else nervous about Crede?? He is one of my favorite Sox players but he was pretty inconsistent last year. I'm just hoping beyond hope that he gets off to a good start this year, along with the rest of our offense.

I read somewhere that he said he just need to get out of the funk sooner so he can become consistent. All Im worried about is our starting pitching. The Critic
I was misquoted. Or you could use the ever-popular "It was taken out of context" - that seems to be the Great Quote Eraser.

I don't know where I can find the splits of what he did in the first half vs. the second half, but he was on his game in the second half. I feel he's got something figured out, and he'll put up some solid numbers at 3B this year.
TLAK
I love negative optimism! I got negative optimism. I predict the Grubs will lose 90 games. Hell, they might even lose more!
