SkokieSox
Good sign. I have high hopes of Koch producing this year, and I believe he has taken the proper measures to ensure that he will. We'll see how it goes. Here's what he has to say. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...4news&fext=.jsp

I don't think anyone compares to Jurassic Carl. Not even evil gnomes or whatever the hell they were can touch Carl's odd beliefs.
SnB
Koch is a big piece to the puzzle this year. If he can get it back, I believe it gives us one of the better bullpens in the league, something we NEED to compete this year.
greg775
I agree we all probably want to see him bounce back. I like what he's said all along in the media, kind of like Todd Ritchie. But performance wise, horrific, ala Ritchie. We need Koch to perform well. That is for sure.
WillieHarris2
I think Koch will be fine this year.
YASNY
Billy Koch is one of the bigger keys to this coming season. There are alternatives if Koch can't cut the mustard, but it would be nice if we didn't have to explose those options.
Chisoxfn
If Koch and Konerko rebound, then things could really look up for the Sox, of course that assuming they don't have any collasle failures. But a healthy and dominant Koch and Konerko feeling and swinging good would really improve the Sox.
upnorthsox
Koch may be the biggest key to the season, it's not that we don't have alternatives to him as closer, it's that we're forced to carry him and his contract no matter what role he's in. He has to be productive this yr for the Sox to be successful, there's just no way of getting around it.
