Chisoxfn
That will be interesting, but its also going to look funny with random seats starting that high. Still, it will help them make more money.
Cali
That looks pretty cool, I went to Boston a couple months ago, and walked by th park, it is really small, and the construction on that wall leaves little room to move on that street behind it. AssHatSoxFan
This might be a great idea and will help keep Fenway around for many more years
supernuke
How long untill the first drunken fan comes close to falling off the wall. I have to admit though I'd love to see a game from those seats.

supernuke
wonder how expensive those seats are? Probably A LOT. It said fifty bucks a seat, as low as forty in a group plan depending on the size of the group.

doubleM23
When are they going to tear that thing down? Ugh, I've been there once and it is not an experience I really want to remember.

Finally someone who agrees with me on that stadium. Its a freakin dump. They should blow the damn thing up and build a new stadium right now. DonkeyKongerko
I thought I saw some plans for future stadiums. Most of them include an homage, if you will, to the Green Monster meaning there will always be a giant wall no matter where the Red Sox play their home games. Chisoxfn
Ya, I think most of the proposals have them keeping the Green Monster, just building a much better stadium around it.

YASNY
A stadium built in 1910, or whenever, is going to be a dump. If I were the Red Sox and history was that important to them, which I doubt since their history sucks too and it's always about money, I'd figure out a way to play somewhere else for a season or two and rebuild Fenway right where it stands. Not remodel, or refurbish. Tear it down and start from scratch.
Chisoxfn
The thing is, Old Tigers stadium was one of the coolest parks I'd ever been. I even think Wrigley is a pretty nice park. CW, since you live in that area, Were the Tigers fans upset they got rid of the stadium?

CW, since you live in that area, Were the Tigers fans upset they got rid of the stadium? I was lucky enough to watch the Sox and Wilson Alvarez beat the Kitties in old Tiger Stadium just before it was torn down. I look around a ballpark like that and think of names like Cobb, Greenberg, Kaline, Lolich, etc. The '68 Tigers were awesome.... Northrup, Freehan, Cash, Brown, McLain, Stanley... in fact, that group is one of my favorite non-Sox teams.
