Jose Santiago pitching

 

Donnie Sadler - Walks. (The Dreaded Lead-Off Walk)

 

Tim Olsen - Singles to right. Sadler to second.

 

Jerry Gil - Bunt Single. Sadler to third, Olsen to second.

 

Josh Kroeger - FC 4-2. Sadler out at home, Olsen to third.

 

Alan Zinter - Zinter Safe at first on Smith error. Olsen scores.

No biggie. What a good game though, hard fought by the Sox. Even though it's just ST and most of the players playing during the comeback won't be on the big club, I hope this is a sign of things to come. Not a bunch of HR's. Singles and doubles, slowly crawling back in the game.

 

We'll just have to see.

Smith is a rookie I believe? I don't know too much of anything about him, but he gets one out at home and then the next ball he makes an error and the D-Backs win. Well, one thing about it the pitcher threw what he needed to get the job done and a rookie got a bit excited and didn't concentrate. Anyhow that's my take on the loss. The hitters battled back and that's what is important.
